About Us
My story started long before now, but in 2020 my story changed forever. As a mother of four children, our goals in life morph for the various seasons and stages. My second son Chris took his own life at the prime age of 35. No parent should experience this pain, but from grief, a dream and vision in my heart grew to a desire of helping my community by connecting resources to help prevent suicide and access to mental health services. From a hobby of roasting my own beans to a love of serving and sharing. Story Cup Coffee begins a new journey, will you join me?
Mission
Sharing our story one cup at a time. Coffee growers and farmers are doing more today than ever before. They are not only farming the coffee bean plants, many are now harvesting their own beans to keep more of the profits. And with this, they are helping their own communities by giving back. Women owned businesses are on the rise in regions such as Honduras, Peru, Guatamala, Mexico and more. Our mission as a new third wave coffee roaster is to share their stories with you by roasting their beans and in turn, give back to our own community.
Vision
Story Cup Coffee begins with you and me. Partnership, love of coffee and the desire to help others. Each bag of coffee beans you purchase from Story Cup will help the greater Downingtown and Exton area and perhaps one day will reach beyond our country.
